Irish Coffee with Bailey’s Whipped Cream

Alright friends. St.Patrick’s Day is fast approaching!

I was never really one for celebrating St.Patricks Day, as typically I would be on the ‘Employees-Only’ side of the bar during the drinking hours of the holiday (keep in mind drinking hours are usually a bit longer on this day). I don’t work in the food and beverage industry anymore, but since I am a bit of a homebody I probably won’t be getting all wild and crazy this year either. Well, maybe just a little.

But really, crazy for me is likely going to be making a giant batch of Mason Jar Bailey’s Whipped Cream and drinking Irish Coffee’s like they are going out of style. Are Irish Coffee’s in style on days outside of St. Patrick’s day? If you’re a regular Irish Coffee drinker, I’d really want to hear about it.

Recipe – Mason Jar Bailey’s Whipped Cream


1cup Whipping Cream
1 1/2oz Bailey’s Irish Cream


Place a mason jar and it’s lid in a freezer to chill.
After 10 minutes, take the jar out of the freezer and pour in the whipped cream.
Shake. Shake. Shake.
Add the Bailey’s.
Shake. Shake.

Pro Tip: Take the coil off your Hawthorne strainer and add it to your jar while you’re shaking. So much more whipping power with no extra effort!


Recipe: Irish Coffee with Bailey’s Whipped Cream


4oz fresh coffee (the stronger the better)
3/4oz Jameson (or other Irish Whiskey)
1/4oz maple syrup
Bailey’s Whipped Cream


Stir together the first 3 ingredients in a preheated mug or glass.
Top with the Bailey’s Whipped Cream.
